Welcome to the ESAC application form. This form must be completed in one go and you will not be able to modify it once sent. We therefore recommend that you read it in its entirety in order to be aware of the different elements requested before starting. Please upload your videos on an online platform (Vimeo or YouTube). If you use the "restricted viewing" option, please set the password to "auditions2025" and only use this password.

Act or extract from acts (max. 3 min)

Technical presentation : Compilation of filmed excerpts of the technical work you have mastered and in the circus art specialty for which you are applying. Please use your most recent work (max. 2 mins)

Several acrobatic sequences must be performed, each lasting a maximum of 1 minute: :

  • Multiple acrobatic combinations, each consisting of at least 4 elements of choice, on a mat or any other surface.
  • A proposal for a \\\\\\\"non-gymnastic\\\\\\\" acrobatic sequence without impact, to be performed on a hard floor.
  • Three hand balance positions of choice.
  • Shoulder-opening flexibility exercises: bridge (passive-active) and retroversion (sitting position, sliding hands as far back as possible while keeping the arms parallel).

This video should be divided into two parts : A strength section and a stability and flexibility section.

We ask you to perform the different exercises shown in our demonstration video. The number of repetitions or the duration of each exercise is specified on the video, so pay close attention.

Acting :

  • An open-ended interpretative performance without equipment and without video editing effects, based on the theme:"What makes me dream is..."
  • Your proposal must have a clear beginning and end.
  • You may choose to speak or perform a non-verbal interpretation.
  • Maximum duration: 2 minutes.

Dance :

  • A dance solo or contemporary dance movement (style of your choice), without equipment, with or without music. No excerpts from performances.
  • The video must be high quality (pay attention to framing and lighting) and illustrate your connection to the floor and space
  • The use of music or sound must be intentional and well thought.
  • Maximum duration: 2 minutes.
